SESSION 1 for English speaking actors in Paris
VOICING: WRITING AND ACTING IN YOUR OWN VOICE
English speaking actor/writers are invited to join the faculty of New York Theatre intensives in developing their own pieces (in English) empowering themselves as fully generative international artists. Producing Artistic Director Susan Merson and Producing/Rep Director Rod Menzies will hold sessions in writing, acting and staging of their own work in a week long workshop culminating with a public presentation of their work for the community.All actors will write and all writers will act. Here is the breakdown of the week:
Saturday/ Sunday March 16/17 10-1, 230- 5 30 --eve for writing and rehearsals.
Monday March 18 6- 10 PM
Tuesday March 19 6-10 PM
Wed March 20 6-10 PM
Thursday March 21 6-10
Friday March 22 6-8 brush up, 8 -10 PM final presentation

FEE: 250 EU
SESSION 2 THE WEEKEND MONOLOGUE OR SHORT PLAY
is the workshop dedicated to the FEATS folks.
Our session begins
Friday Eve of Mar 22-- Registration 6 PM, Welcome at 7, Presentation at 8 PM
Saturday, Mar 23- 10-1, 230-5 and 7 30- 10 PM-- workshops on writing, acting, putting work on its feet
Sunday Mar 24 10- 1( brush up rehearsal) and presentation at 2 PM,
Session ends 5 PM Sunday Mar 24
That comes to about 20 hours and participants should come out with a monologue or a short play for themselves.
To cover basic expenses I would need a commitment of at least 8 people at 170 EU for the weekend. Do you feel you can work with me to get this number of folk at that rate? Accommodation would need to be on their own though I can try to get a rate. The work space will be central Paris.
